We have over 20 large Bear skins for you to choose from: from Unicorns, Dragons & Dinosaurs to Elephants & Giraffes or Bunnies, Cats or Dogs as well as lots of traditional teddy bears.
The Pottery Shed, Hinckley
Welcome to The Pottery Shed, a Paint Your Own Pottery Studio based in the center of Hinckley.

Paint Your Own Pottery 17th December
Due to the price increase for electricity, we only process the kiln when it is full, so it may take us slightly longer than normal to process your pottery.
We have 5 tables inside the shop and our booking system staggers arrival times so that we only have one group walking around the shop at a time.
We have the following tables available for maximum 2-hour sessions:
- One table to seat between 4-6 people
- Two tables for up to 4 people
- One table for 2 with one extra chair for someone to watch.
- One table for 2 people
We ask you to limit one non-painter per table. We can accommodate larger groups and move tables around to suit your group size. Just book the number of tables you need for your group size or call us to discuss.
If you would like to take a more relaxed approach and take your time to paint, then why not come to one of our grown-ups nights? You’ll have 3 hours to paint at these, so lots of time to chat away and paint with friends and family. We run these at least once a month on a Thursday or Friday.
If your group size is big enough we can also do a private event for you. Our shop is available for private hire in the evenings or Sundays and it’s a great space and activity for all generations of the family to join in.
Alternatively, why not take the pottery home with you to paint in the comfort of your home? You can rent a kit for 2 to 3 days, so you can paint at leisure with friends and family. Paint at Home Pottery Kits:
You’ll find out more details of our Pottery Kits for all the family to use on the “Paint Pottery” page. It will explain what, how, and where to get your pottery kit and what costs are involved. These pottery kits will need to be returned for glazing and firing. We have a huge range of pottery to choose from so all the family can get involved with this.
